About Serahn kennels.
In 2005 I aquired my first BT,
They live in the rural
The BT’s spend most of their day roaming around 2 enclosed acres. The BT’s share their space with a 12 year old female Rottweiler, a 2 year old Tenterfield Terrier, 3 cats, several chooks and are surrounded by sheep and 2 horses. After dinner, we go for a 30 min walk around the property giving the BT’s the chance to bounce around the place. Horses, cows and sheep do not phase them in the slightest, they barely look at them. They enjoy running in open space and sniffing around freely.
My aim is to breed BT’s which have excellent temperaments in order to show people that these creatures are like big huggable bears. They deserve lots of time and attention and the needs of their curious mind must be catered for by providing lots of fun, games and interesting things to keep them entertained. I have found that acceptance or tolerance has been learned through the provision of (supervised) social interaction with people, dogs and all of the other animals living on the farm. Our BT’s have tight boundaries in order to live happily like this, but happy they are. BT quality temperament will always remain a priority in my breeding!
I hope you enjoy looking at the moments I share with these special individuals.
